i was in the basement moving some laundry along when the whole house started shaking. it took longer than you'd think to realize what was happening. coco and lola made some bad earthquake injury prevention decisions by jumping in to the space between the ceiling of the basement and the floor of my dining room. anyway, i'm a bit freaked so i ran up stairs to see what the news had to say and these are the headlines (does this mean something? i feel like some old prophesy could be tied to this whole thing happening):
